"We're all stories in the end, just make it a good one"

This project went incredibly well. I went into great depth in my research looking into floorings, furniture, lighting, architecture, what was happening in the world at that time and so on. I was very happy with how far I have come with my work in SketchUp as I made most of my furniture and I tried to get everything as period accurate as possible in my room. I chose to do a SketchUp model instead of a white card model for this project as I felt I could do with the practice on the program and learn everything I could within it, especially the furniture building and learning how to render my white card and coloured versions of the model. I also added a backing in my model of a West London street of townhouses.

I also feel I have made massive progress with my technical drawing skills and for this project, I decided to add all of my lettering later on in Photoshop as my lettering by hand is not very neat and consistent so while I practice it looks much better to add it all in, in Photoshop. This was a very fun and interesting project and I enjoyed creating my living space. If I were to do it again I think I would attempt a white card model to add to it all and add a few more details in my room.
